Mardi Gras is for New Orleans. There is no denying that. But if you are looking for a family friendly version, complete with beads, floats, costumes and jazz, then you may want to head to Universal.
If you are a local, get an Annual pass, after a few concerts it will pay for itself. If you are visiting, the concert is included in your Universal park admission.
